George L.S. Kapitan
(President Commissioner)

Mr. Kapitan is a graduate of the law school of the University of Indonesia, class of 1963, Jakarta. He has been a banker for 36 years and has lived and worked in Indonesia, Netherlands, West Germany, and Hong Kong.

He served as President Director / CEO of several financial institutions and banks, owned and co-owned by the Central Bank of Indonesia (BI). He was responsible for financing many strategic projects of importance. He also sat on the Board of Commissioners (BOC) of five Regional Development Banks in North and West Sumatera, West Kalimantan, Central Java, and Lombok. He was also Commissioner in many corporations engaged in manufacturing textiles, industrial and consumer products, building and construction material, and agro-plantations.

Bank of Indonesia appointed him as the Chairman of The Bank Summa Liquidation team (TLBS) in 1993. The team completed the most significant private commercial bank liquidation at that time in 1996. He is also President Commissioner of PT. Rea Kaltim Plantations, a British foreign investment company in Palm Oil Plantations. He also serves as Independent Commissioner at PT. Surya Sawit Sejati, A Danish / Malaysian foreign investment company in Palm Oil Plantations.


J. Ralhan


With over four decades of professional experience, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, India, and a Postgraduate in Industrial Quality Control and Operation Research from Bouwcentrum Institute, Holland, Jayashree Ralhan oversees every aspect of the business at Kaltimex Group.

She integrates the various functions of the group with the professionalism evident in management, focusing on Business Strategy, Planning, System Development of Operations, ensuring good governance with proper Compliance, Legal, HR & GA policies.

Outside Kaltimex Group, she has also held several positions in India at reputable companies like Engineers India Ltd., National Thermal Power Corporation. In Indonesia, with Indomobil Group of Companies, she held various management positions. She has focused for over 30 years on the production and distribution of automobiles (Suzuki, Mazda, Hino, Volvo, Audi, and Nissan). The pinnacle of her contribution best represents as Director appointed by Hino Motors, Japan, in Hino Indonesia from 2003 to 2016.



K.K. Ralhan
(President Director)

Mr. K. K. Ralhan (K.K.) is the owner and founder of Kaltimex Group. He is the company’s Group Chairman under Kaltimex Group in Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Philippines, and Myanmar.

He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1970 from India and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Delhi University. He has more than five decades of professional experience working in the industrial field. Under his watch, and within 25 years, Kaltimex Group has achieved installations encompassing 1800MW of power largely in Bangladesh and Indonesia. He has now set his vision to ramp up Group’s business in the Renewable Energy space.


John V. Jacob
(Director Engineering)


Mr. John V. Jacob has been with Kaltimex Energy since 1993, serving as Senior Power Plant Manager and responsible for overall EPC and O&M management until he was appointed as the Director of Kaltimex Energy’s operation in Bangladesh from 2006 until now. In Bangladesh, he spearheads the entire business of Kaltimex, ranging from gas engines, vapor absorption machines, waste heat recovery boilers, diesel gensets, including the operation and maintenance of the power plants.

He graduated from the State Board of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, India, in 1984 in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he worked at the distributor of Cummins Diesel Sales and Service (India) Ltd for eight years.

He also oversees the activities of the engineering division, especially in the field of Gas Generating Sets, and Power Plant operations of our business in Indonesia while continuing to operate in Bangladesh.


D. Rochkadar Sukada
(Director Operations)


Graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1975 and Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Demdem has more than 45 years of experience in the power generation and electrical industry.

Mr. Demdem served in PLN, The State-Owned utility company for more than 25 years occupying various positions including as the General Manager Region IX (Maluku) and General Manager for Generation and Transmission System for Aceh, North Sumatera, and Riau Mainland. After that, he was appointed as the President Director at PT. Indonesia Comnet Plus (ICON+), a subsidiary of PLN for fiber optic-based network providers and several other fiber optic and telecommunication companies before joining Kaltimex Energy.

At Kaltimex Energy, he holds the post of Director Operations, overseeing power plants’ operation, turbine division including guiding sales, marketing and renewable energy projects.

The newest addition to Kaltimex Energy’s board of directors is Mr. Ginanjar who graduated from Padjajaran University in 1989, majoring in Economics. Later in his career, he pursued his master’s degree in Business and Administration Management at Gadjah Mada University and graduated in 1999.

Mr. Ginanjar has a long career history in the Pertamina Group and was appointed for various positions in multiple sectors. In his early years, Mr. Ginanjar started from logistic refinery area then shifting to gas & LNG business, corporate secretary & investor relation, and finally moving to power & new renewable energy area. Later in his career, he founded PT. Pertamina Power Indonesia, PT. Jawa Satu, and PT. Jawa Satu Regas to construct an integrated LNG-to-Power plant with a capacity of 1800 MW, which is the first in Asia and the biggest integrated plant in South East Asia. Currently, Mr. Ginanjar is putting efforts to leverage and develop new & renewable energy businesses as he believes in this future global energy source.

As Director of Products and Projects, Mr. Ginanjar oversees Kaltimex Energy activities related to existing product management and strategic business development, especially in gas engines and renewable energy projects.

Widi Pancono
(Senior Advisor – Renewable Energy)

Mr. Widi Pancono has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indonesia. He has augmented his electrical engineering background with an additional microprocessor course at Siemens School in Germany. Additionally, he obtained certification in finance from Prasetya Mulya Institute – Jakarta.

For over 16 years, Mr. Widi has honed his experience in the renewable energy sector with a focus on the biomass and biofuel sectors. His experiences include biomass gasification (2006), biodiesel using palm acid oil in East Kalimantan (2013), and a detailed feasibility study for the integrated biodiesel industry in West Sumatra (2015).

Between 2015-2017, Mr. Widi helped develop a 10 MW CPO power plant for the Belitung Islands. In 2018, he joined Pt. Kaltimex Energy, Indonesia (KEI) as Senior Advisor in the Renewable Energy division. He has contributed in development of a 10 MW biomass power plant in West Kalimantan and West Nusa Tenggara, Waste to Energy plants in 3 more cities in Indonesia, and Bio CNG plant from Corn Cobs in West Nusa Tenggara.

Mr. Widi is a member and stakeholder of the Renewable Energy Society and elected Chairman of the Indonesia Renewable Energy Cooperative (KOPETINDO) since 2018. He is also the elected Vice-Chairman of the Indonesia Biomass Energy Society (MEBI) as of 2020.
