Board of Commissioners:

Dani Firmansyah
(President Commissioner)

We want to welcome Mr. Dani Firmansyah as the President-Commissioner of the company, effective October 1, 2022. With almost four decades of experience in multi-finance businesses, he adds significant value to the current Board of Commissioners.

He is currently an Independent Commissioner at Buana Finance Tbk., Bussan Auto Finance, and Smart Multi Finance. He is also the President Commissioner of Aditama Finance. Between 1998 to 2014, he served as the CEO of Saseka Gelora Finance, IFS Capital Indonesia, and Bima Finance.

He completed his Master’s in Management in 1994 from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines. His awards included One of the Outstanding Alumni in 2012.

J. Ralhan
(Commissioner)

With over four decades of professional experience, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, India, and a Postgraduate in Industrial Quality Control and Operation Research from Bouwcentrum Institute, Holland, Jayashree Ralhan oversees every aspect of the business at Kaltimex Group.

She integrates the various functions of the group with the professionalism evident in management, focusing on Business Strategy, Planning, System Development of Operations, ensuring good governance with proper Compliance, Legal, HR & GA policies.

Outside Kaltimex Group, she has also held several positions in India at reputable companies like Engineers India Ltd., National Thermal Power Corporation. In Indonesia, with Indomobil Group of Companies, she held various management positions. She has focused for over 30 years on the production and distribution of automobiles (Suzuki, Mazda, Hino, Volvo, Audi, and Nissan). The pinnacle of her contribution best represents as Director appointed by Hino Motors, Japan, in Hino Indonesia from 2003 to 2016.

John V. Jacob
(Commissioner)

Mr. John V. Jacob joined Kaltimex Energy in 1996 as a Senior Power Plant Manager. He was responsible for overall EPC and O&M management until he was appointed as the Director of Kaltimex Energy’s operation in Bangladesh from 2006 till the present. Currently, he is also the Commissioner of Indonesia’s PT. Kaltimex Energy.

In Bangladesh, he oversees all aspects of Kaltimex’s business, including gas engines, vapor absorption machines, waste heat recovery boilers, diesel gensets, and the operation and maintenance of power plants. In Indonesia, he oversees the activities of the engineering division, especially in the gas-generating gensets and power plants.

Mr. J. Jacob graduated from the State Board of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, India, in 1984 in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he worked at Cummins Diesel Sales and Service (India) Ltd distributorship for eight years.

Board of Directors:

K.K. Ralhan
(President Director)

Mr. K. K. Ralhan (K.K.) is the owner and founder of Kaltimex Group. He is the company’s Group Chairman under Kaltimex Group in Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh & Philippines.

He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1970 from India and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Delhi University. He has more than five decades of professional experience working in the industrial field. Under his watch, and within 28 years, Kaltimex Group has achieved installations encompassing 2000MW of power largely in Bangladesh and Indonesia. He has now set his vision to ramp up Group’s business in the Renewable Energy space.

D. Rochkadar Sukada
(Director Operations)

Graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1975 and Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Demdem has more than 45 years of experience in the power generation and electrical industry.
Mr. Demdem served in PLN, The State-Owned utility company for more than 25 years occupying various positions including as the General Manager Region IX (Maluku) and General Manager for Generation and Transmission System for Aceh, North Sumatera, and Riau Mainland. After that, he was appointed as the President Director at PT. Indonesia Comnet Plus (ICON+), a subsidiary of PLN for fiber optic-based network providers and several other fiber optic and telecommunication companies before joining Kaltimex Energy.
At Kaltimex Energy, he holds the post of Director Operations, overseeing power plants’ operation, turbine division including guiding sales, marketing and renewable energy projects.

Manoj P. Varghese holds the Director of Engineering & Projects position at Kaltimex Energy. He obtained his degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Communications, from the University of Mysore, India, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kerala, India.

Manoj has been an integral part of Kaltimex Energy since its early stages, contributing significantly to its growth. Initially, he led the engineering department, overseeing the construction of diesel and gas power plants and the design and packaging of steam turbine generators; he also managed to support group-wise activities in other countries.

Before joining Kaltimex, Manoj was the plant manager at COVEMA Filaments Ltd, an Indian subsidiary of Nuvo Covema Spa, Italy. His expertise and leadership qualities have earned him the nickname “MacGyver” from K.K Ralhan, highlighting his resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities in challenging situations.

Manoj’s vast experience, technical expertise, and leadership have driven Kaltimex Energy’s engineering and project initiatives and spearheaded the company’s foray into renewable energy.

Aswin Indradjaja
(Director Of Finance)

Mr. Aswin Indradjaja is the Director of Finance at Kaltimex Energy, starting January 2024. He has over 25 years of professional experience in banking and finance, particularly in corporate lending, credit restructuring, and financial due diligence, both in Indonesia and the US. Currently, he is also the Finance Director of PT. Kaltimex Mobiol Indonesia.
Before joining the company, Mr. Aswin served as VP of Treasury & Corporate Finance of PT. Patra Jasa (a subsidiary of Pertamina Group) for almost seven years, as well as a member of Board of Commissioners at PT. Yasa Industri Nusantara (a subsidiary of PT. Rekayasa Industri) for two years.
In the US, he held several banking and financial consulting positions for almost 15 years before joining Bank CIMB Niaga in Indonesia as SVP of Corporate Banking between 2011 and 2016.
Mr. Aswin completed his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Airlangga University in 1988.

Advisor:

Widi Pancono
(Senior Advisor – Renewable Energy)

Mr. Widi Pancono has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indonesia. He has augmented his electrical engineering background with an additional microprocessor course at Siemens School in Germany. Additionally, he obtained certification in finance from Prasetya Mulya Institute – Jakarta.

For over 16 years, Mr. Widi has honed his experience in the renewable energy sector with a focus on the biomass and biofuel sectors. His experiences include biomass gasification (2006), biodiesel using palm acid oil in East Kalimantan (2013), and a detailed feasibility study for the integrated biodiesel industry in West Sumatra (2015).

Between 2015-2017, Mr. Widi helped develop a 10 MW CPO power plant for the Belitung Islands. In 2018, he joined Pt. Kaltimex Energy, Indonesia (KEI) as Senior Advisor in the Renewable Energy division. He has contributed in development of a 10 MW biomass power plant in West Kalimantan and West Nusa Tenggara, Waste to Energy plants in 3 more cities in Indonesia, and Bio CNG plant from Corn Cobs in West Nusa Tenggara.

Mr. Widi is a member and stakeholder of the Renewable Energy Society and elected Chairman of the Indonesia Renewable Energy Cooperative (KOPETINDO) since 2018. He is also the elected Vice-Chairman of the Indonesia Biomass Energy Society (MEBI) as of 2020.
