Waste To Energy (GGIE)
GGIE’s advanced pyrolysis technology involves the thermal decomposition of complicated organic matter in the absence of oxygen to simpler molecules that become the feedstock for further process. The main products produced by the pyrolysis process are activated carbon, diesel, and syngas.
Pyrolysis consists of an endothermic reaction. General combustion occurs through the generation of heat in the pyrolysis chamber, producing solids and liquids.
Diesel produced by this pyrolysis process can be used purely as a fuel or for other related end products. The syngas produced is cleaned and used to produce power via ORC and gas turbine.
The biomass used in pyrolysis is typically composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin.
The products produced in the process vary and depend on the feedstock type. I.e., cellulose material and some biomass produce biochar and activated carbon.
