IPP / Rental

Kaltimex offers its Total Power Solutions, either on Build, Own, Operate (BOO), or Transfer (BOOT) basis.  As an Independent Power Producer (IPP), we offer clients the opportunity to stay focused on their core commercial affairs, whereas they pay for their power consumed.

As an IPP the company bears all the responsibility for spares, inventory, and maintenance as well as breakdown repairs.  Kaltimex routinely supplies rental power to the State Electricity Company, PLN. Till 2016 Kaltimex had a footprint of over 150 MW of installed capacity in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatra.

Kaltimex was the pioneer in obtaining the first license in the private sector as an IPP to supply 23 MW Power for a large textile company in Central Java in the early 1990s.
